Meet the Founders
Bill Chase
Chief Executive Officer
William Chase is a retired Navy Rear Admiral with a distinguished Aviation and Information Warfare career. He held various leadership roles including Information Warfare Commander, JOHN C. STENNIS Strike Group; Commander Task Force 1010, Commanding Officer, Naval Network Warfare Command; Director, Protecting Critical Technologies Task Force; DoD Deputy Principal Cyber Advisor; Deputy Director, Joint Staff J6; and concluding his service as Deputy Commander of the Joint Force Headquarters, Department of Defense Information Network. He is a U.S. Naval Academy graduate and holds a masters degree in information technology from Carnegie Mellon University.
He is a founding member of GS2 and is a proven leader and innovator in cyber defense and IT modernization.
J. Steve Correia
Chief Financial Officer
J. Steve Correia is a retired Navy Captain with a distinguished 29-year career. His career highlights include three Commanding Officer positions, cybersecurity leadership on the Joint Staff J-6, and a communications planner in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Steve holds advanced degrees from the Naval Postgraduate School and the National Defense University, and a CISSP cybersecurity certification. His service has been recognized with numerous awards, including the Defense Superior Service Medal, the Legion of Merit, and others.
He is a founding member of GS2 and is passionate about helping organizations modernize and secure their IT.
Mike Lee
Founder / Chief Operating Officer
Mike Lee retired from the Department of Navy after a 30-year career, culminating as Director for Task Group 1010.10 (Cyber Engineering Team). In this role, he provided technical oversight and guidance for Navy enterprise networks and critical infrastructure. Previously, he served as Assistant Program Manager for Engineering, overseeing cyber security and network operations for the Navy’s Enterprise Network Program. With a background as a Navy Information Technology Technician and Electronics Technician, Mike held leadership roles in cyber defense operations and acquisition management.
He holds industry certifications and a degree in Applied Science and Computer Technology, and currently, as founder and Chief Operations Officer of GS2, he continues to provide consulting services to industry partners.
